APPX for Linux Promotional License Key

Some fields are noted as required for us to issue you a license key to use APPX for Linux. The most critical fields are your e-mail address and the MAC address of your ethernet adapter. Your e-mail address is critical since that's where we will send your APPX license key. Your ethernet MAC address is critical since that is what APPX uses to validate that your APPX for Linux license key is valid.

To determine your Ethernet MAC address, you can run the Linux "ifconfig -a" command usually located in the /sbin directory. The Ethernet devices are listed as eth0, eth1, eth2, etc. The MAC address is the HWaddr field.  APPX validates your license key using the HWaddr value for Ethernet device eth0.
