Florida Association of Counties 2002 Conference

APPX Software recently exhibited at the Florida Association of Counties annual conference, held in Marco Island, FL, June 25-27. This conference, which brings together County Commissioners and administrators from throughout the state, provided APPX with the opportunity to talk about a couple of software packages that are already being used by several Florida counties.

APPX's particular focus at this event was on the Medicaid Share-of-Cost Payment Reconciliation system.  Using this application can reduce monthly processing time by up to 90%, while eliminating overpayment errors and increasing efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Many county officials, especially those in the Social Services area, expressed interest and asked for follow-up information and site visits.

APPX Director of Consulting Services Gary Rogers, along with Vice President of Reseller Services Al Kalter, represented the company at the FAC conference, as well as the golf tournament the day before (it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!). Along with having a booth at the conference, APPX sponsored a hole at the golf tournament and provided golf balls for all of the participants.
